The APEX system is based on Tandem computers and ACI software, both leading providers of mission-critical transaction processing systems to financial institutions.  Since APEX runs over a secure Internet connection, the need for additional software or hardware is eliminated.  Nothing is loaded on the hard drive of your PC, allowing you more flexibility in your day-to-day operations and easier recovery.  To implement the APEX-ACH product, the user will require a web browser compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 5.0 or higher, with 128-bit cipher strength encryption.  The user will also need:

• Internet Service Provider
• LAN connection with internet access or modem with a touch tone line
• Printer or network printer
