Corporate America Credit Union's Fixed Callable Share Certificates are fixed-rate certificates with a declared final maturity, and a built-in feature that permits the issuer to call, or redeem the certificate on a given date.  In return for the option to "call back" the certificates, Corporate America pays a premium, or spread, above a similar instrument with a call feature.  The terms typically range from one to seven years. Dividends are paid monthly, semi-annually or at maturity.  Fixed Callables permit members to aggressively compete with the debt offerings of government-sponsored enterprises.
